Introduction to the New Rules is a short summary of what has
changed the new draft. I suggest that you read it to get the overall flavor of the changes.
Here's what you've been waiting for: Final rules.
These rules will go into effect in the East on 1 May, 2000, assuming that they are published in
Pikestaff as intended. All new armor is subject to the new armor standard as outlined in the rules
as of 1 March 2000 (ie, now). All pre-existing armor that does not pass the new standard will
not be legal after 1 July 2000. Questions? Read the rules first, then contact your regional
marshal.
